Digital Democracy for Tomorrow
2MR is a festival that provides a platform for social media that strengthens democracy. Communications professionals from the worlds of business, culture, the media, local government and public administration demonstrate how they successfully use open networks – without Big Tech – for their communications.
2MR is pronounced ‘zwoMR’ and can also be read as ‘tomorrow’ – tomorrow’s social media is being shaped today!
The first 2MR conference took place on 4 May 2026 at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg.
